Clenbuterol, originally marketed as Ventipulmin and also Spiropent, is widely known as Clen. It is a sympathomimetic amine used by people having trouble breathing normally, acting as a decongestant.

Collagen, being stiff, causes the heart to work extra hard to pump blood through the body. It also causes irregular heartbeat, which can then lead to strokes.

Clenbuterol can also cause enlargement of the aorta after working out, which in turn may cause aortic rupture and sudden death.

Clenbuteron can intensify pre-existing heart conditions and blood pressure problems. When Clenboteron is taken in high doses, it may cause cardiac atrophy in as short a time as 4 weeks.


Clenbuterol Overdose

When overdosed with Clenbuterol, one may experience the symptoms within a few minutes. It can clear up with a few hours or it may last a few days. It is unclear exactly how long Clenbuterol stays in the bloodstream, but is does not break down quickly.

There is one more thing about Clenbuterol potential users should know. After approximately 3 to 4 weeks of using it, you may start gaining weight again. Clenbuterol only works as a weight loss agent for a short period, possibly because it had the metabolism in overdrive for this period.

Clenbuterol is one of the banned products on the list of the International Olympic Committee. It is a performance-enhancing drug, therefore illegal.
